We store all candidate details on a database for up to 12 months, unless we receive a written request by an individual to delete their personal records. These records enable us to search against candidate profiles with specific skill sets, should we identify specific recruitment needs in the future.
A Basic Disclosure (termed as a "criminal conviction certificate" in Part V of the Police Act 1997) is the lowest level of Disclosure. It contains details of convictions considered unspent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 or state that there are no such convictions.
The financial probity check is not a credit check or a credit search. It will not affect your credit status or reduce your credit score. The check will provide information which includes any CCJs, Bankruptcies and Voluntary Arrangements covering a 6 year period, in addition to a search of the public electoral register against a 6 year address history. The search will also include both past and present UK Directorships and any disqualification from holding a UK Directorship(s).
