This is a 12 months Fixed Term Contract 

The Pearson VUE UK-based recruitment team manage all Internal vacancies within the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific Area Countries (APAC) regions. The objective of this role is to provide an efficient, effective and proactive recruitment service to stakeholders within the EMEA region.

Working with the EMEA and APAC Recruitment Advisor the position will require the management of a range of vacancies, with focus on the EMEA region. The Recruitment Coordinator will be required to support the recruitment strategy and process, advertise roles, screen, schedule and interview candidates for a range of positions in the business.

We seek a Recruitment Coordinator who is able to partner with stakeholder managers in order to recruit the most talented candidates in the market.

  • Work with the Recruitment Advisor and HR Team to provide an efficient, effective and proactive recruitment process for a range of positions in the EMEA region.
  • Manage predominantly volume recruitment across multi site locations. The successful candidate will manager circa 20+ vacancies across the UK on a daily basis, with support provided by HR colleagues, as required.
  • Assist in the recruitment of support service functions i.e. Technical, Finance, Commercial etc
  • Source talented candidates directly to provide hiring managers with manageable shortlists of candidates suitable to consider for interview.
  • Ensure that all employee personal data is managed within legal guidelines, with diplomacy and with discretion.
  • Promote and pursue best practice and Pearson VUE objectives and culture in all aspects of work.
  • Effectively screen all applications to ensure fit with role requirements and assess suitability to escalate to interview.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service standards in all elements of work.
  • Assist and support the HR Administrators and where possible, look for ways of improving and enhancing the recruitment service provided by the HR team.
  • All employees have a responsibility to co-operate in promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, and to take reasonable care of their own health and safety at work and that of all other staff who may be affected by their acts or omissions. Line managers have specific responsibility for the health and safety of their direct reports and other team members for which they have general management responsibility.
  • All employees are also responsible for supporting and implementing the company’s policies and procedures around the Health and Safety, Security, Quality and Business Continuity arrangements that apply in their role/work function.   • Support the Recruitment Advisor in the permanent and temporary recruitment process from recruitment plans.
  • Deal with requests for job applications, respond to applicants, arrange dates for interview/assessment centres, prepare and send applicants invite letters for interviews, appointment and regret letters. At point of offer, liaise with relevant team or departmental colleagues
  • Design recruitment advertisements and gain Hiring Manager approval prior to advertising
  • Work with local job centres and government agencies to maximise potential pool of applicants.
  • Carry out short-listing process against agreed selection criteria.
  • Carry out the telephone screening process for applicants.
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate assessment centres and interviews as appropriate, making all necessary logistical arrangements.
  • Ensure all prospective applicants provide the requisite documentation to evidence their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with employment legislation.
  • Ensure relevant recruitment documentation is completed in all recruitment activity.
  • Provide feedback to applicants as to the outcome of their application as appropriate and ensure all applicant feedback is documented.
  • After each recruitment activity, ensure outcomes are co-ordinated and logged as appropriate.
  • Produce Management Information as required
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as and when may be reasonably required.

 

  • Experience of working in a recruitment environment
  • Ability to ensure numerous concurrent recruitment campaigns are managed and completed to high standards.  
  • Confident nature and able to portray Pearson VUE as an employer of choice.
  • Build lasting relationships with key hiring managers to advance the recruitment process.
  • Experience of facilitating Interviews conducted face to face and via the telephone 
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to keep up with a fast paced and often pressurised environment.
  • Ability to organise workload and work independently when required, but with the ability to know when to seek guidance and advice from colleagues.
  • Strong team working skills and customer service ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in the English language.
  • Able to use the Microsoft Office suite.
 
  • Social Media recruitment savvy
  • Experience of ‘In house’ recruitment or in a contracts division of a high street recruitment agency
  • Use of a global Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
37.5 hours per week, although flexibility may be required to meet the demands of the business.
