Title: Trends in Assessment Innovation
Abstract: Technology advancements unlock new capabilities - what was once inconceivable can become commonplace, and existing service models evolve with new solutions. Innovation is driving expansion of testing across a greater range of assessment scenarios. New device capabilities in mobile and tablets, advances in machine scoring, and new tools for security result in a rich capacity to evaluate human achievement with greater efficiency and reliability. This session explores key trends and their implications for our industry - mobile testing, machine scoring, security and proctoring. Each trend is evaluated along a value and risk scale, and emerging capabilities in assessment are discussed.
