Pearson VUE has been shortlisted and privately invited to attend this Ministerial roundtable event. The eAfrica Forum is the leading forum for Public/Private Partnerships for ICT deployment in Africa. eAfrica 2010 is the sole VIP Invitation Only event that takes place in Africa aimed at increasing the use of ICT for Public Services through sustainable PPPs.
The Forum brings together the highest level representatives from Government Ministries including Ministers, Director Generals, Permanent Secretaries and CIOs. They attend to meet with Private Sector Vendors, Donor Organisations and Technology End-Users to discuss the very latest ICT issues facing African countries. By meeting in a relaxed and informal environment discussions can take place that highlight examples of best practice but also case studies of successful projects, this allows the countries embarking on the latest programmes to avoid costly mistakes by learning from their peers.
A mixture of roundtables, networking sessions and individual meetings create a unique atmosphere that allows delegates from across the globe to share knowledge, create long-term partnerships and discuss commercial opportunities.
Pearson VUE is sponsoring the event and are presenting on the “eLearning – ICT for Education” roundtable (covering areas that will have a direct impact on African citizens) which takes place on Tuesday 26th October.
