Gary Gates, Ph.D., is responsible for leading Pearson VUE’s strategic business growth outside of North America by establishing partnerships, recommending acquisitions and collaborating with established Pearson businesses.
Dr. Gates has considerable experience launching international enterprises, including the development, commercialisation and internationalisation of innovative technology for ITIS Holdings, Plc, a leading supplier of traffic and travel information. Prior to his work with ITIS, he held management positions with British Nuclear Fuels Plc and British Energy. |

Dr. Gates received a doctorate degree in Computational Physics from the University of Liverpool and graduated with honours from the University of York with a B.Sc. in Theoretical Physics. |

Matthew is responsible for growing existing programmes and seeking new partnerships across the region. He leads the EMEA Business Development team as well as the multi-region Programme Management team.
Matthew has over 20 years experience of working for international IT and computer-based testing companies, having established successful teams and customer partnerships to deliver new products and launch global programmes.
Matthew is also recognised as a speaker on technology trends and how technology is changing the way we communicate, engage customers, live and work. |

Jasvinder Nijjar Finance Director, Pearson VUE International |

Jas Nijjar was appointed to the role of Finance Director of Pearson VUE International in May 2011. She is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, performance management, budgeting and strategic planning across several different regions. Most recently, she was Financial Controller at Pearson Australia Group in Melbourne where strong team leadership and change management skills were crucial to her role. |

She has over 15 years experience in finance, working largely within media organisations including Universal Music Group and United International Pictures. She has been with Pearson for 6 years and has held a variety of roles across the organisation, spending 3 years at the Financial Times Group.
Jas holds a degree from Leeds University and qualified as a management accountant in 2000. |
