Security is ‘built-in’ across the Pearson VUE test centre network with patent-winning test centre security design to ensure that candidates are not cheating.
Our testing rooms are completely enclosed with partitioned workstations and audio and video monitoring to provide the highest levels of security and testing integrity.
Invigilators have a full view of every testing workstation and an array of biometric options ensures the validity of candidates checking in for exams.
Verification of candidate identity is crucial to the integrity of tests and Pearson VUE offers real-time eligibility checks at the point of registration and an array of identification options to further verify candidate identity at check-in for the test.
Pearson Professional Centres offer the highest levels of security, processes include biometric verification of fingerprints, photographs and signatures to help authenticate valid test-takers from impostors.
Stringent test centre verification systems and procedures have to be followed and candidates must bring with them a printout of their confirmation email from Pearson VUE and one piece of photographic identification from the list below:
- a current signed passport;
- a current signed photocard driving licence (full or provisional); or
- a current Government-issued identity card that carries the candidate’s photograph, date of birth and signature.
The name on the identity document must exactly match the name provided when the candidate made an entry for the examination. The test centre staff have no discretion to waive or vary the identification rules.
