When candidates enter the test centre, the first thing they see will be the front desk (pictured below), where they must present their photographic identification document. The check-in agent will tell them what to do next: whether to wait in the seating area near the check-in desk or to head straight for one of the numbered examination workstations in the next room.

Candidates may take into the examination room only the materials and equipment which are allowed. They will be allocated a lockable cupboard for the safe deposit of personal belongings.

When the test time is imminent, candidates will be asked to go through the door to the test room (below) where they will have a numbered desk with a computer terminal (plus a portable whiteboard and pen for note-making).

There is an invigilation desk in the testing room from which the invigilator has a clear line of sight to every desk and every computer. Computers will only run the specific tests that candidates have registered for. The computers have no other functionality.
