Examination Scheduling Information
Pearson VUE Account
To create a Pearson VUE web account, you will need to have a valid Blue Prism Portal account. Blue Prism regularly synchronizes its Portal user data with Pearson VUE. If when creating a Pearson VUE account, your details are not recognized please bear in mind that it could take up to 48 hours for your account data to migrate over to Pearson VUE following the creation of your Portal account.
If you are unsure of your Portal ID log into the Blue Prism Portal and navigate to the My Account page to confirm your Portal ID.
If you are having difficulties creating a Pearson VUE account please contact firstname.lastname@example.org providing your portal ID, first name, last name and name of the exam you wish to sit.
Your first name and last name captured in the Blue Prism Portal and subsequently transferred to Pearson VUE will need to match your government issued ID. You will not be able to change these details in Pearson VUE. Instead please contact email@example.com providing your Portal ID and your preferred first name, middle name and last name.
Registering for an Exam
Once you have a Pearson VUE web account you will be able to register for any exams for which you qualify. You will need to choose your exam, exam test center, date of exam and time of exam.
When registering for an exam you will only be presented with the exams for which you are eligible. The APD01 and ASD01 exams have exam pre-requisites. If you believe you are eligible for these exams but they are not listed please contact firstname.lastname@example.org providing your portal ID, first name, last name and name of the exam you wish to sit. After you schedule your exam, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation email detailing your exam date, your exam time, the address and phone number of the test center and directions to the test center.
If you are successful in the exam a certificate will be uploaded to your LMS account within 7 days. You can view your certificate by first logging into the Portal and then navigating to the LMS via Learning → LMS. Within the LMS certificates can be found by selecting “My Activities” and then “External Training”.
For all exams that are presented in English an extra 30 minutes will automatically be awarded to any candidate who has specified in the Blue Prism Learning Management System (LMS) that they originate from a non-English speaking country. A full list of countries where English is an official language can be found in Appendix B.
Pearson VUE will supply Blue Prism with weekly reports of exams accommodations provided in each country where exams have been taken. Any candidate found to be deliberately abusing automatic accommodations will be have their accreditation revoked without refund and will not be permitted to sit further exams.
Exam length can be adjusted on request to accommodate specific candidate physical conditions that may require extra examination time e.g. dyslexia.
Test accommodations are personalised and considered on a case-by-case basis. Simply demonstrating that an individual meets diagnostic criteria for a particular disorder does not mean that the person is automatically entitled to test accommodations.
It is essential that the documentation of the disability provide a clear explanation of the current functional limitation(s) and a rationale for the test accommodation. To request individual accommodation please email email@example.com providing your Portal ID, exam you wish to take and reasons for accommodation. Please do not register for an exam until your accommodation has been confirmed by Blue Prism.
