Coordinated through Professional Testing (PTI)

A risk management professional is a partner who supports the organization to leverage the opportunities and uncertainties associated with its goals and objectives. Risk managers lead the development and implementation of risk management practices that enable the organization to make risk-effective decisions that create and sustain value.

The RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional for Federal Government (RIMS-CRMP-FED) is a credential that demonstrates the achievement of validated risk management competencies and commitment to quality. It represents the standard of education, experience and ethics that the discipline requires.

RIMS-CRMP-FEDs may use the credential to establish credibility within their organization and among risk management professionals. Adding the RIMS-CRMP-FED credential to your professional profile verifies that you have achieved a high level of expertise, education and experience required to successfully manage risk and support decision making in the federal government environment.

Before scheduling a RIMS-CRMP-FED exam, you must meet the eligibility requirements, submit your application, pay the designated fee, and receive an authorization-to-test email from RIMS-CRMP Certification Department. For more information, visit the RIMS-CRMP Certification website.

You may also contact RIMS at RIMS-CRMP@rims.org with questions.
