Where can I find my Candidate Testing ID?
If you have ever taken an IBM Certification or Mastery Test, you have a Candidate Testing ID. You can find your Candidate Testing ID on any previous IBM Testing Score Report or emails from the IBM Professional Certification Program.
I do not have or do not know my Candidate Testing ID. Can I purchase an exam without it?
If you do not have or do not know your Candidate Testing ID, you can create a profile with Pearson VUE. Click on Create an Account at the top of the page and select the No, I do not have a Candidate Testing ID option.
I need to change my name listed on my account.
To change your name, please contact a Pearson VUE Registration Center. The agent will explain the process and where to send the required documentation for a name change.
I need to update my phone or email listed on my account.
You can update your address, phone or email by signing in to your IBM account with Pearson VUE. Click on Sign In at the top of the page.
I think I have more than one profile with Pearson VUE, what should I do?
To determine if you have more than one profile with Pearson VUE, please contact a Pearson VUE Registration Center. The agent will guide you through the process to address any duplicate records or accounts.
I cannot sign-in to the Pearson VUE website.
Use the account recovery process at the top of the page. Click on either Forgot my username or Forgot my password, as appropriate.
What payment types does Pearson VUE accept?
Pearson VUE accepts Master Card, VISA, American Express and JCB as well as vouchers.
Am I required to use a voucher?
Vouchers are not required.
How do I start my exam?
After you have completed the purchase, you can start your exam by clicking on the Begin Exam button.
When I attempt to start the exam, I do not see an exam question. What should I do?
If you encounter a blank screen or error message when you start the exam, your computer system may not meet the minimum requirements to run the exam.
I forgot my username/password. Can I reset it?
How long do I have to take my exam?
Once you start the test, each exam is timed individually. The amount of time you are allowed will be explained during the purchasing process. NOTE: You MUST start and complete your exam within the 72 hour exam delivery period.
I lost my Internet connection or closed my browser. How do I resume the exam?

You can cancel the exam and receive a refund as long as (a) you have not started it and (b) the delivery period has not expired. Follow these steps:
How will I get my score report?
To access your score report, click on Sign In at the top of the page. When you take a test at a Pearson VUE Test Center, the test administrator will provide you with a printed score report before you leave the center.

Will I see exams or score reports for exams I took previously?
On the Pearson VUE website you will have access only to the score reports for exams you have taken with Pearson VUE. Please visit the IBM My Learning Site for additional information about exams you have taken in the past.
What if my name is spelled incorrectly on my score report? Can it be changed?
The name on your score report cannot be changed after the test has been taken. Please make sure your name is correct before you start the exam.
When can I expect to see my exam results reflected in IBM’s system?
You can expect to see your results reflected on the IBM My Learning Site within 2 days after the completion of your test. If you do not see your score reflected, please open a ticket with the IBM Credential Helpdesk and select Certification Candidates from the left side navigation.
