Schedule Your Exam
Create a Pearson VUE Account
A Pearson VUE account is required the first time a candidate schedules an appointment to take a NETA-InterNational Electrical Testing Association exam. Candidates should enter their NETA ID and first and last name. Candidates should enter their name exactly as it appears on their NETA exam authorization email. Once they have created an account with Pearson VUE, candidates will use this account for subsequent exams and view their scores.
Locate a Testing Center
Candidates will be able to locate a Test Center authorized to administer their examination near their location.
Select a Date and Time
Candidates will sign in to their accounts and select a date and time for their exam. All available dates will be presented to them for the location they have selected. After they schedule their exam, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation email with all pertinent exam information.
Rescheduling an exam
Candidates who need to reschedule their exam appointment can make modifications directly to their Pearson VUE account or by calling Pearson VUE directly 24 hours or more from their exam appointment date and time.
Rescheduling within 24 hours of their exam date and time requires NETA office authorization. Please contact the NETA Office at (888)300-6382 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Canceling an exam
Candidates who need to cancel their exam appointment can make modifications directly to their Pearson VUE account or by calling Pearson VUE directly.
On the Testing Date
A test candidate should arrive at the test center 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment time, allowing adequate time to complete the necessary sign-in procedures. Candidates should be prepared to show two forms of ID, have their digital photo taken, have their palm scanned, and provide a digital signature. If a candidate arrives more than 15 minutes late for their appointment, they may be refused admission and potentially forfeit the exam attempt and any applicable fees.
